It's been shelved till 2007, this will mark the shows 50th Anniversary for the revival. I also heard that they wanted a talented age-appropriate cast and a year or two ago when they first were discussing it didn't find talented enough young performers, so were hoping by pushing it back to find more what they were looking for in the cast.
I personally absolutely cannot wait to see this show professionally done! I just...love it, if it does come out, I don't think I will have ever been more excited to see another show in my life.
