Did anyone see this show or have you seen any local productions? What's the set like? etc. Thanks.

It pretty much is a bare stage that looks glacial w/a table and chairs that are moved in and out.
One of the most brilliant evenings in theater. I am still haunted by it.
I saw a recent production of this at Studio Theatre in DC. It extended several times. The set was minimal but the stage itself was very small. In this production, the acting was outstanding. The power of this show lies within the dialogue that is loaded with emotion. I had a little trouble understanding the dialect at first on the actor playing the mother, but that only lasted through the first scene.

Grandmother? What grandmother?
Do you mean the mother?
Sorry, yeah I meant "mother." Typing on little sleep is not a good thing.
I found it a very powerful piece. The writing was inciseful, specific and deadly in its unflinching examination of a terrifying topic. The performances were equally riveting ( saw it Off Bway pre transfer). I didn't discuss it too much as I wasn't sure I could adequately deal w the piece.
