Now I know some of my posts are eccentric. But that is who I am. I love making and writing sarcastic humor. Some people appreciate it and some people don't but I don't mind. The past 7 years have been physically and VERY emotionaly hard for me. But Broadway has brought me back to the old happy person I used to be. I live In PA so NYC isnt that far away but still expensive. I have missed Wicked after I Purchased $150 tickets cause I ended up being hospitalized. If you saw me on the street you would never think That I was a Theater-Addict....well I custom made a Mamma Mia Hoodie. But I go to a Behavior Health School and many people in the school dosent even know what Broadway is unless they heard it in a rap type song. I can not attend a Theater Arts School cause I have very severe public anxiety unless I am within the lights and sounds of Time Square (just kidding)
I just appreciate and thank you for this board to lead me in all the right directions and shows that makes me want to sing and dance. Does this make me a Broadway Maniac, I have seen these shows
Cats
Mamma Mia x2 Twice
Mary Poppins
Spamalot
Curtains
Aida
Little Show Of Horrors
and I am ready to spend up to $600 to see Billy Elliot
Yes I know a tiny list but I have 15 GB of music and video associated with Broadway on my MP3 Player.
The most fun in a musical I had was Mamma Mia
The most I was looking forward to seeing a show was Spamalot
The most Unique, and True Musical Theater I saw was Curtains
I no longer can say I have no friends when I have this Community Message Board:)
thx for reading.
GOD BLESS :)
