I took Miss Patti's picture, because who knows when I would have another chance to do so. She's doing "Gypsy" till March 2009.. and then will prolly take it to the West End, if things work out o.k. Plus, the last times I saw her in Texas was in 2003 and just this past Jan. 2008. So Miss Patti doesn't do concerts all that much in my little corner of the world.
Also, I remember something else from seeing "Xanadu". There were a bunch of people in the middle section of the onstage seating. There was a nice blonde girl seating next to me... and next to her was a young guy wearing glasses. Apparently, they were involved in making the "Cubby Bernstein" commercials. I don't remember his name, but he does look like one of the producers on Eppy 2. Very nice people. There was a good crowd in Orchestra and 2/3's of Mezzanine was filled.
The INtense person I talked about also was an obsessed fan of Christine Ebersol. While we talked outside, she mentioned that Christine will be "Norma Desmond" in a revival of "Sunset Boulevard". I was dubious about that, but I didn't want to argue with such an obsessed Ebersol fan. Apparently, since she's seen "Xanadu" so many times, she has a chance to pick her favorite onstage seat. Someone private messaged me and said that she's known as the "Popcorn girl"... wanting to sit next to one of the muses, when they start eating popcorn.
"Xanadu" is such an energetic and FUN show. If you have the chance to see the show... GO SEE IT!! from RC in Austin, Texas P.S. By the way, I liked the last "Cubby" installment. They were realistic in their expectations about winning and losing for Best Musical.

Looks like you had the trip of a lifetime, and you got to meet some very hot Broadway boys, and a wonderful Broadway legend

I'll leave others to describe Mario Lopez' talent onstage... but he seemed to give it his all.
...Really?
I'm glad you had such a great time!
