A.R. Gurney's poignant coming-of-age drama/memory play can be seen through June 7th in a beautiful production at Pershing Square's Signature Theatre on W. 42nd St.

After seeing 3 productions on Bway this week, this was a powerful & most memorable presentation of them all.

(With her husband overseas near the end of WWII, a mother, Grace, fights to save the splintering bonds of her family by taking her teenage son & daughter to spend the summer on Lake Erie.

When her son takes up with the town outcast, the entire family must confront the expectations of a society that holds conformity in the highest regard.

Grace finds that her attempt to restore normalcy may have only fractured her relationship with her son even further.)

Kristine Nielsen who won a Tony nom. from her work in Vanya & Sonia & Masha & Spike is a force of nature in her portrayal of Anna Trumbull! Noah Galvin playing the 15 yr old boy is also delivering a break-out performance. The entire cast & direction, drummer & projections of typing stage directions are all A1. Tickets are only $25.
