I thought it might be fun to pay tribute to some of the actors who aren't discussed often on the board, so here goes. I adore Brent Barrett's

-luscious baritone
-performance in Chicago
-performance in Annie Get Your Gun
-Kander and Ebb album

He has the most amazing voice. And he looks nice too. And I liked his Fred in KMK.

But he's not as great as IdINa!!!!! Just kidding.

Seriously, he's marvelous.

Yep. Tall, good-looking, tenor-esque (though a lot of his high notes in "Closer Than Ever" sounded kinda washed-out) -- everything I'm not. Not bitter at all. :)

Plus, he completely walked off with the Encores On a Clear Day You Can See Forever in a secondary role, singing "She Wasn't You".

He is also quite terrific on the CD of Grand Hotel and in the 1990 Tony Awards, memorably dancing "We'll Take a Glass Together" with Michael Jeter.

He was great in the production of Chicago out here in L.A. He is a truly amazing performer.

In my opinion, no one can sing like Brent Barrett.
Really! When he sings at Encores or any of the Siegel's concerts he blows me away.
The man has talent. He was also a nice interview.

Encores, not Encore's.

And since there are two Siegels, it should be Siegels'
