And yes, she's definitely doing On the Record... she however is no longer participating in Broadway Unplugged thanks to Disney. Oh, Disney.
*this is me jumping up and down with a forced enthusiasm* Oh, joy. 'Nother road trip.
The fact that she's always working so there's lots of chances to see her perform!

She's always working?! I pray that was sarcasm.

Daisy, I am planning on getting opening night tickets...just to say that I was at a world premiere. I will let you know how it goes.

Okay... thank you?

Why a question mark? I was just trying to be nice...

I just found the comment to be rather condescending, is all.
I'll see the show eventually...
It's Disney. That's all I'm saying.

I know...I was really talking about how Emily does, but if you don't want to hear it, I won't bother telling you.
For a designer, Disney shows are amazing! Natasha Katz is designing the lighting...I cannot wait to see what she does.
She wouldn't remember me but I worked with her years ago and I have to say she was not only amazingly talented, she was also outrageously funny offstage!
I also remember watching her at an audition years ago and as soon as she sang the first few notes you immediately knew she had "it". (The song was "There are worse thing I could do" and she starting it at "I could stay home everynight, wait around for mister right...")
I love her voice on the SIDE SHOW recording. At times she reminds me of a young Barbara Cook.
The Side Show recording is a treasure isn't it? It's like living this weird, wonderful story all the way through each time you listen. Oh, how I wish I'd seen that show.

Morosco...
LOVE the icon. I'm wanna be Patsy when I grow up. :)
The show was beautiful. It's very sad that it didn't find it's audience. I saw it twice.

Skinner is the real thing. I am very lucky to have been able to see her more than once in the Sondheim shows and CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF at the Kennedy Center. Her performances were always fresh and true. She did wonders with Mae in CAT. I also loved her in DINNER AT EIGHT as well. I am glad ON THE RECORD is playing DC as well.

When is it playing in D.C.? If it's earlier in the run I'll just go there because it's closer and will cost me less. I was planning a trip to Chicago for November... we'll see.
I saw CAT, too. :) She was 'eh'.
I love that she's from Richmond (where I'm from) and that I've worked with her father and sister.
