What Time For Avenue Q Rush?

A few questions about the Avenue Q Rush:
Is it open to students only?
Also, I have read that they usually sell out when the box office opens at 10. How much earlier than 10 would you recommend getting there?
Finally, anyone know of any discount codes for this show? I'm willing to pay up to $40 but can't find any decent codes. Thanks.

Most of the time I get there AFTER 10, around 10:40, and I always get tickets. However if you are worried, I'm sure if you arrive by 9:45 you will be fine. It is a general rush and so it is open to anyone.

My friends and I rushed on a Wednesday in late January. The box office opened at 1 and we got there about 15 minutes before. 1 other guy came before the box office opened. I don't know if it's any different on the weekends but it seems like during the week there's no need to be there early.

unless you are going on a saturday dont get there at 10

Monday 1pm - 8pm
Tuesday 1pm - 7pm
Wednesday 1pm - 8pm
Thursday 1pm - 8pm
Friday 1pm - 8pm
Saturday 10am - 8pm
Sunday 11am - 7pm

Our Box Office is located at 340 West 50th Street, between 8th & 9th Avenues.

*Box Office hours are subject to change, but will always open at least one hour prior to the first performance of the day and will remain open until the beginning of the last scheduled performance of the day.
