The Dancers Over 40 "Circle of Friends" SOLD OUT benefit held tonight at the Thalia off Broadway at 95th Street was a true circle of love. Broadway dancers of the late 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's and of tomorrow came together tonight to celebrate and support one of their own--Kathy Hull. Kathy is currently a resident of The Actor's Home in NJ, and she once graced the stage of the St. James stage in the ensemble of the original production of HELLO, DOLLY!

This was the program.

Circle of Life sung by Peter Samuel; danced by Gary Gendel and his neice, Olivia Gerco

Cabaret sung by BeBe Neuwirth (who also acted as Host)

Dance Duet, riotously tapped by John and Aren Mineo (his son)

Ribbons Down My Back sung by Penny Worth (a personal touch for Kathy)

Cool Hand Luke danced by Kyo Mineo (an interpretation of the Fosse style)

If My Friends Could See Me Now staged by Donna McKechnie (who as cast by Fosse in a touring production) and danced by Donna, Stephanie Eley, Susan Daniell, Mary Sue Finnerty, Mimi Quinlin

Solo At The Paradise sung by Rebecca J. Harris, with Kurth Peterson and Kathy Conry

Life Ain't Like The Movies sung by Kurt Peterson

Bosom Buddies sung by Kurt Peterson (the original "Young Ben") and Harvey Evans (the original "Young Buddy"); a priceless interpretation based on a friendship of years--"I'm gay, and you're the straight one...," and a revealing truth about Tab Hunter.

Big Spender, staged by Mimi Quillan, and danced by the full Company

Sing, almost sung by Denise Pense (whose story the song tells and who never got to nearly sing this on any stage until tonight) and Don Percassi who sang it in the original cast of A CHORUS LINE

Music And The Mirror sung and danced by Donna MeKechnie (who brought down the house)

Corner Of The Sky sung by Stephen Bogardus with Stephen Schwartz at the piano

For Good sung and played by Stephen Schwartz

Time To Start Living sung by Carole Schwartz (who also brought down the house) with Stephen at the piano, and was joined in the encore by the entire Company and audience

It was like a terrific party in the living room of a friend where everyone came together to benefit a beautiful lady in need.

One more congratulation.

The evening would not have been possible without the imagination and determination of Denise Pence who made the benefit a reality.
