For anyone on here who works as a performer, does it on the side, or just has a general interest in doing so, what roles would you love to play? I chose my top five for both plays and musicals.
Musicals:
Sweeney Todd - Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street
George - Sunday in the Park with George
Max Bialystock - The Producers
Judas Iscariot - Jesus Christ Superstar
Henry Higgins - My Fair Lady
Plays:
Ned Weeks - The Normal Heart
George - Whos Afraid of Virginia Woolf
Prior Walter - Angels in America
Roy Cohn - Angels in America
Iago - Othello
Edit: I completely forgot The Emcee and Willy Loman
Another edit: Also Atticus Finch. I probably should’ve looked things over more before starting, but whatever

I'm not a play expert, so I'm sure my picks are all very basic- Martha in Virginia Woolf, Amanda in The Glass Menagerie, etc. But I'll take a go at musicals.
Anna- The King and I
Cathy- The Last Five Years (I know that this pick is basic as well)
Norma Desmond- Sunset Boulevard
Jenna- Waitress (Again super basic)
Marian Paroo- The Music Man

Basically all the Sondheim male leads. But Overall? George from Sunday in the Park is my all time dream role.

Ivy from Bare: A Pop Opera.
Eponine Thenardier from Les Miserables.
Veronica Sawyer from Heathers.
Natasha Rostova from Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812.
Abigail Williams from The Crucible.
Elphaba and/or Glinda from Wicked.
Eurydice from Hadestown.
Katherine Howard or Anne Boleyn from Six.
