What are the odds?! (Wedding Singer)

I'm in New York till March 16, 2006.. what are the odds of this show starting previews by then?

I mean, if Hairspray can open at 5th Avenue in Seattle and close June 23, 2002 and open for previews in NY on July 18, 2002.. Why couldn't this show?

The Wedding Singer, by the way is beginning Jan. 31, 2006, with an official opening scheduled for Feb. 8. The limited engagement will play through Feb. 19. It will open in New York at a Jujamcyn theatre. Updated On: 6/17/05 at 09:59 PM

Weird...I don't know the answer, but the movie is on my tv right now...I just thought it was strange timing...

That is why I am posting... just thought of it as it is on TV right now... Great movie.. Will need some definate changes before it is "musicalized"
