What do I do....
#0What do I do....
Posted: 4/8/05 at 9:32amHey got a question: Last night at my last rehearsal before the competition my school is in today/tomorrow, I randomly passed out on stage for no reason and was taken away. Yes, I did eat yesterday, and drank, no I haven't been sick, etc. etc. SO I was wondering (since we're competing today and I am deathly scared this will happen again) is there any way to prevent something like that from happening? Please, any advice is appreciated!

Posted: 4/8/05 at 9:42amThanks- well it wasn't just that. One of our Nazi soldiers sprained his ankle AND another had a panic attack and passed out. Not a good last rehearsal.

Sounds like you guys are working too hard. Try to get some sleep, relax hell if you have time go get a massage (those things always relax me to the point that I don't care what is going on) and just know that you guys have worked your butts off and that you will do amazingly at the show. Then just go do your thing. You guys will be great. Break a Leg...except for the guy who sprained his ankle..tell him to take it easy

ah good, then you're ok.

Posted: 4/8/05 at 12:29pmThe massage idea is good, it will help you relax. Also, remeber to have fun. A lot of times with competitions people forget that theater is about enjoying your performance. Don't think about the judges because then you will stress and risk passing out again.

Elphaba, I was thinking the same thing, but anyone who passes out in situation like that 9 times outta 10 will have been sent to the ER to be checked out..at least in any repuitable theater situation
Break a Leg on your comp!!
