"Speaking of 54 Below (which I really enjoy), has anyone noticed the outrageous prices of wine by the glass? A large glass (8 ounces) costs more than a bottle of the same wine retail. Alcohol generally is marked up 2-300%, but their prices for a glass of cheap wine, $18-$23 are way out of line."
Yep, it actually makes their specialty cocktails seem like a bargain at $16 - lol.

My understanding is that it's fairly standard for a glass of wine to cost about the same in a restaurant as the bottle might retail. It's worth noting that 54 Below pours about a glass and a half rather than a standard 5 oz glass.
