I'm sure this has been posted before, so forgive me, but my friend's mom went to see Spamalot the other day and she said that it seems like Hank Azaria is out for good. No playbill mention, not even on the poster. What happened?
His tv show Huff was renewed and he is shooting more episodes, Alan Tudyck replaced him, but Hank will be back at the end of November...
This was spoken about for weeks. Hank has taken a leave from the show to film the next season of his Showtime series "Huff." He will return to SPAMALOT around Thanksgiving.

Looking forward to the second season of HUFF, seeing Hank again in Spam when he returns, and to the emmy awards to cheer Hank on.

Yes, Hank will return in November. They can't keep him in the playbill and put in an insert because some people could demand a refund because one of the 'stars' were out. It's also done this way due to the extent of his absence.
I'll have to go see it again once Hank comes back.... Loved the show without him, but according to friends at the theatre it's even more hysterical WITH Hank
