When I saw Lee Morgan's performance in Brooklyn at the Denver Civic last year, I felt that his performance was so authentic. It felt like Lee Moragan was living though his character, which made the show incredible. I'm not sure where he is now, however I am sure he is impressing audience members somewhere.
The Broadway production thought it would be a smart move to have a bigger name (Tony winner Kevin Anderson), a name bigger then just... Lee Morgan. Plus, Kevin was the first Taylor in workshops. I do agree with you about Lee's performance, so amazing, so full of life and reality, truth. I guess NYC knew what they wanted to do. But I doubt Lee is gone from Brooklyn JUST yet. :)
Kevin Anderson was nominated for his performance as Biff in the 1999 Death of a Salesman, but he's not a Tony winner.
Oops! I thought I wrote 'nominated.' Thanks for catching that.
