Does anybody know what happened to the Actor Fund's Auction of 1,000 Stars? It's been taken off eBay.

The Actors Fund site says technical problems---and they've extended the auction to 8/11.

Where are we going, and why am I in this handbasket?

I had bid on a couple of items, and eBay sent me two messages saying the items had been taken off because of policy violations. I was just curious.
