What happens with fan mail?

So, I sent my Rent CD insert to Idina at the end of October, and she hasn't sent it back yet, and now the show is closed. Now what happens?

she will either send it back signed, or you will not get it back at all. Idina does take a few months to respond to fan mail...if at all.

Wow it took me a long time to find this thread.

I sent Idina something and a note at the begining of the SWIWS run, and I just got it back today signed. It was postmarked for December 4. So dont loose hope, maybe she sent everything out on the last day of the show.

I sent a letter and SASE to raul and adam more than a month ago and haven't gotten anything back yet

Some actors have assistants, and some have people who just answer their fan mail, in which case you won't have to wait long for a response. Some don't have that kind of help, which means you have to wait until they get around to answering it themselves.

The best thing to do is to send a self addressed stamped envelope, the size of whatever you are expecting to have returned to you. The easier you make it for them, the more likely they are to respond.

I sent a letter to Cary Shields in May. Nothing back but I doubt I'll ever get anything back.

I emailed Cary about a year ago and he sent me a long personalized email giving me singing tips!
