He is offering a 3-day musical theatre audition workshop in Seattle and I was thinking about signing up. But before I put any money down (which I desperately need) I was wondering if you guys knew anything about him. And if so, good or bad? Thanks a bunch.

Posted: 9/21/08 at 8:59pmHe has done everything from being an amazing actor and singer to direct/cast/assist big casting directors/coach/write amazing books on the audition scene/ write musicals as well as teach one of the BEST classes in NYC! If you can work with him... do it. You wont be sorry. He is also the #1 authority on the pop/rock scene in musical theatre and has things to offer that NO ONE ELSE does.

Posted: 9/22/08 at 7:35amVP is well worth the time and money! He not only has major conncetions in the theatre world, but he also teaches the BUSINESS of theatre. It's about connections. It's about networking correctly and knowing how to present yourself. He has so many tools at his disposal and a workshop with him will get you rolling in the right direction. Ask him about his views on the 'starving artist' thing. It will OPEN YOUR EYES and help you plan for your theatrical future. Try to absorb all that he will throw your way and then keep in touch with him. You won't be sorry!
