What if Ruthie Henshall played Mama Rose?

So today I was watching Gypsy (Bette Midler version) after watching a little bit of the Les Miz concert, and some clips of Ruthie Henshall online, I got to thinking how much I would love to see her play Mama Rose.
She's got a killer voice, she's a great actress, and has the presence (at least, I think so) to really pull it off.
Granted, I don't know when or where she could or would ever do it, but I think it would be great to see her in the role. Does anyone else think this could work?

She sings a really good rendition of "Everything's Coming Up Roses" in one of her solo albums. I think with the right director she'll be fantastic in the role about 5-10 years from now (it'd be great to see a younger Momma Rose).
And if she were to play the role, I'd be quite the happy homosexual

This is freaky...I almost started the same thread last night (chose to go to bed) after my Ruthie Henshall as Mrs. Lovett comment. I agree she should and will. Also, I'd like to see Stephanie J. Block reprise her 17 highschool starring role as well

I think she'll be sensational... but not now... she still looks too young ~
Another person I think will be amazing but different will be Linzi Hateley!

I agree, that she will be perfect in about 5-10 years time. We know she has the vocal ability, but she also has the stage presence and always gives a commanding performance.
If, by some miracle, they manage to make a hit of The Pirate Queen, which I'm hoping they do. I would love to have Ruthie play Grace here in the UK version. She would be fab.
