What is Laura Griffith up to?

Since The Light in the Piazza closed, I thought Laura would join the tour, but noticed her name is not in the credits on the tour website - anyone have any ideas what she's doing these days? She is one of the most talented women I know, and I hope her career just keeps climbing higher and higher.

She was with the tour until several weeks ago--- when after having been with the show for about two years (including the New York run), she decided to move on.

And she has just been nominated for her role of "Franca" for a Helen Hayes Award (Washington, D.C. theater awards) - as have Christine Andreas, Elena Shaddow, and David Burnham for their roles in the show.

Fantastic - thank you!...I knew I'd heard she was doing the tour - then when I checked the website - no mention of her - so I was a bit confused. Congrats, Laura, on the Nomination - you really deserve it!

There was a fairly large turnover in the tour cast last month and Laura was one who chose to leave. Another major cast member is leaving towards the end of next month as well...(about to be announced).
