She was talking about another magazine for gay & lespian parents. Bit of a niche but maybe there is enough of market. I suppose there may be SOME differences between hetero & gay child rearing but not sure THAT much ,certainly for younger children. Teens are a whole other kettle of fish!

Child, the Grease! revival would never have gotten off the ground were it not for Rosie O'Donnell's involvement, and it ran for years. So perhaps "everything she touches flops" is just a teeny tiny titch of an overstatement?

She didn't produce SEUSSICAL. She stepped into the role. The show didn't flop because of her - it was because no one really gave it a chance.
I know many people who haven't seen the show, but LOVE the cast recording. It didn't get its audience in time. But when Cathy Rigby toured it, the show got a makeover, and it became 150% better! I wish THAT production went on Broadway.

I think if Rosie wants to do something on Broadway, she should stick to appearing and performing in it rather than producing it. She was quite good in Grease and clearly helped sell a lot of tickets. She had experience in acting in movies before, so she knew how to perform. Clearly, in producing, especially a big budget musical like Taboo, she was, however well intentioned, out of her depth and had no idea what she was doing.
