On Ticketmaster they have 55.00 partial view seats, we got partial view in the Orch for August... You may wanna check those out.

I'll take a chance here...

There are no discount tickets for Wicked. You've got your options of:
1. Regular price tickets
2. Partial view tickets noted above
3. Ticket brokers for outrageous prices.

There is no chance for a site for low price tickets to Wicked.

when sitting in a partial view seat, there are parts of the stage that you can't see. Thus, the VIEW of the stage is PARTIAL, as in, not complete.

AKA- Set pieces may obstruct your view. Or the natural contours of the theater. Wicked's set is also rather HUGE and spills out the sides, which is why there are quite a few seats that are less than desirable. Even the lotto seats (if you're lucky enough to win one) aren't THAT amazing, in my mind. You qind up looking straight up a lot and don't see the whole picture of the show... it's great for being REALLY close to the performers, though.

But good seats at a low price simply are not happening for this show for years and years, I'm afraid. The best seats are the first ten rows or so, dead center, and you'll only get those for top dollar, ($100 a pop).

It depends on where the partial view seats are, and what scene.

I've seen the show sitting front row dead center, 9th row dead center, and front center balcony, and let me tell you, the balcony is the best place to sit.

Go for the $75 tickets.

Is that necessary? Who knows maybe there is another way of getting Wicked tickets? My mom is actually looking for Wicked tickets but she doesn't want to spend a fortune. The partial view seats don't sound to bad... maybe I'll look into those.

If there was another way of getting cheap available tickets for WICKED, all the WICKED groupies would be on it like Katie to Tom at the moment.

If you go on the Ticketmaster site, there are cheap seats for $50.

The problem is that it is very hard to get tickets PERIOD.


The show's reported capacity have been 100%!!!

Get with the reality of the situation.

Yeah. This is a show that would EASILLY be posting over 100% capacity if the Gershwin were capable of SRO. I don't forsee half price tickets (like at TKTS) for the next few years- no exaggeration.

I'm afraid that the rule of thumb is going to have to be: Wanna see Wicked? Open up that wallet.

...I've gotten cheaper seats on E-bay...4 tickets for $300... It was a good deal and I split with friends...They were Row X orchestra but definetly not bad

I had to pay $100 per seat to sit on ROW FREAKING Z!
yes, it's not the very back, BUT IT ISN'T THE FRONT EITHER! grrr I'm mad at myself for waiting so long to get tickets...
