Yes, the original Broadway production. Incredible talent on that stage. Actually, more talent than the piece deserved! But, it was a beautiful production. It was like being in a dream, it was so damned good!

I'd love to see Hugh Panaro as Lancelot and put Susan Egan as Guenevere. Arthur's a rough role to cast depending on the direction you want to take with the show. Brian Stokes Mitchell would be wonderful though.

Audra McDonald has been in talks to play Guenevere. The producers of the upcoming revival (though no dates have been announced) trie dto get Spamalot to change their name so that there would be no confusion or anything.

Gigi should never be done on Broadway.

Of course George Hearn would be cast in the Chevalier role in GIGI. And Chita could do Hermione Gingold!
