My personal Dream Broadway musical for Disney to do would be "Sleeping Beauty" and I would cast....
Taylor Louderman as Princess Aurora (For me she was the best part of "Peter Pan: LIVE" along with Kelli O'Hara)
John Gallagher Jr as Prince Phillip
Lauren Lane as Maleficent (If she's still doing work)
Julie Halston as Flora
Carmen Cusack as Fauna
Ashley Brown as Merryweather
Howard McGillin as King Stefan
Rebecca Luker as Queen Leah
Fred Applegate as King Hubert
What's your dream Disney musical and cast. And be serious about it cause I'm watching

MTI licenses a "Disney's Sleeping Beauty KIDS" show for youth theatre groups, so there's already some semblance of a stage adaptation...kinda...
I always thought Pocahontas could translate beautifully to stage, and it would be a spectacular opportunity to cast Native American actors, re the diversity issues as of late.
I'd add Hunchback of Notre Dame, but that already happened...haha. Ironically with the same composer and lyricist as Pocahontas, no less. I wish I'd been able to catch it at Papermill.

Hercules!
Kyle Scatliffe as Hercules, Alison Luff as Meg, Nathan Lane as Phil, Joshua Colley as Young Hercules, Gabe Ebert as Hades, Josh Gad as Panic and Eddie Korbich as Pain, Mandy Patinkin as Zeus, Bernadette Peters as Hera, The Muses: Lili Cooper, Maia Nkenge Wilson, Brennyn Lark, Tamika Sonja Lawrence, and Adrienne Warren.

I think Kyle Scatliffe as Hercules would totally be interesting cause one of the original understudies for Jasmine in "Aladdin" I believe was African-American.Â
And Pocahontas as a musical would be a dream although the only Native-American actress I can think of that can sing act and dance is Alanna Saunders. But she could actually be good just cast someone who is convincing alongside her as John Smith.
