I keep getting asked what I want (and need ideas) so am curious what are you asking for theatre related?  

I was thinking TKTS gift certificates but wasn't sure if they're ideal or more of a pain to use.

If you go to TKTS a lot, they are easy to use. If you don't, they are hard to use.

I would suggest just Visa giftcards...that way you could use them at TKTS, the box office, or any other website!
