What's the best way to get rid of WICKED tix that are now not needed?
#1What's the best way to get rid of WICKED tix that are now not needed?
Posted: 3/26/08 at 11:26amI was bringing my niece to NYC (it was her Xmas present) but now she has a bright pink cast on her foot and can't go, I'm still coming but I want to see other shows since I've seen WICKED twice. They are front Orchestra, Row N, Seats 33 and 35. Not bad seats at all! What would everyone suggest? eBay? Sell them at the theater day of? Try and contact Ticketmaster and give them the sob story (which believe it or not has worked for me in the past)? Any helpful thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks in advance for the help!

I would go for Ebay first (I have always had luck selling my tickets on here)...then maybe if they dont sell try Stubhub.com.....if that doesnt work....

Wicked will be sold out, for sure, which means there will be a cancellation line. Take the tickets to the box office window, and tell them you are not using them, and are offering them for "cancellation." They'll take them back, refund you, and re-sell them to someone on the cancellation line.
Of course, if you want to sell them at a marked up rate, you could offer them to people outside of the theater yourself. Just remember, though, they have signs all around the Gershwin warning patrons not to buy from folks like yourself.
