Last summer I saw the Lion King in Pittsburgh. A couple months or so later I saw the Broadway production of the show and didn't really see a MAJOR difference. I personally liked the off-broadway production a bit better. I don't know, maybe I'm just a bit clueless to how "non-Broadway" perfomances are.
The only difference I seemed to discover was mainly the set which is understandable considering in New York, the Lion King has their own theatre and never moves. Are there any others anyone noticed?

"Off-Broadway" is a specific term which applies to commercial and not-for-profit Equity productions occurring in specific New York City theatres with 100 to 499 seats (where special union rules apply).
