Anyone know the best way to get there? I'm going to London for spring break.
Just go to Leicester Square/COnvent Garden. It's just next to the Cambridge Theatre. When you're facing the theatre face-to-face from the roundabout, walked to the street on the right of you. THen on the left of the road is my favourite shop in the world!
Oh My - I'd never heard of this. Guess where i'm heading on Satuday? lol. Thanks!
Isn't it near that Seven Dials intersection (I think that's the name)? I would always forget which street it was on. I think the best way is when you exit the tube station at Leicester you are facing Charing Cross. Make a right around the corner on Cranbourn and then the very next left on St. Martin's Lane. It's just a couple of blocks down on the right just before you get to the Seven Dials intersection.
Yes, it's about 1/2 block down from the Seven Dials Intersection on the left as you're walking away from that intersection.
It's on Monmouth Street - which confusing as it goes across Seven Dials, making it look as though there are two streets with the same name! You want the one that is on left of you if you were walking out the doors of the Cambridge Theatre.

I discovered DRESS CIRCLE when I was in London in 1989. I had just seen ASPECTS OF LOVE and was looking for other musical theatre recordings with Michael Ball. They suggested RAGE OF THE HEART ( a musical score about Peter Abelard and Heloise, the star-crossed lovers from medieval France). On the way back to my hotel ( which was on the same building where ASPECTS was playing), I saw a crowd waiting for Michael. He came a few minutes later ( obviously from a public appearance, and was accompanied by Andrew Lloyd Webber himself) and stopped to sign autographs. And that was how the little album I bought from DRESS CIRCLE became my first autographed Michael Ball album
