I'd see that, though not sure if I could see him in this production vs. the original staging... In my mind at least.
Considering the Emcee is not so much a character than an omniscient commentator of the world around him, they could be any age (Joel Grey was 55 in The 1987 revival, and Billy Porter is 55 now.)
I think if they brought him for this revival, they would put him back into the Redmayne mold of the oddly asexual clown type as opposed to the more raw and raunchy portrayals by Peck and Lambert
