What's with the Brooklyn hype?!

What's with the Brooklyn hype?! The only things I can find on it are on the website. The three songs on there aren't amazing, though Eden Espinoza is ridiculously talented. To me, this show seems like an angsty melodrama. Why is this board so excited about it?

When you see it you will understand. With the risk of sounding like a shill it really is good stuff. I saw the Bryant Park gig.
