OK folks, I thought I'd turn to my friends on these boards...
The performance of 'Bat Boy' that I had tickets to on April 9th was cancelled... so now I need to find something to do on a Saturday night in Toronto. I have tix to 'Wicked' already for that Friday... :)

There are many things to choose from to do in Toronto on a Saturday night! Here is a link to Now Magazine which lists pretty much everything theatrical going on week by week. You can navigate the site to see other options and events.

I hope this helps. Enjoy!

Hmmm...that's an odd time to come to Toronto, because a lot of limited-run shows are closing next week. But as to what's playing on April 9th:

AIN'T MISBEHAVIN' produced by Canstage will be open by then at the Bluma Appel Theatre. It stars Toronto's star diva Jackie Richardson and should be quite good.

Stage West is producing their own JOSEPH AND THE TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT.

HOLLOW: A CLOWN PLAY at the Berkeley St. Theatre looks fun.

Check out http://www.torontolivetheatre.com/ -- it lists the higher-profile shows playing in the city.

God, you're coming right after Da Kink in My Hair, Unless and Porgy and Bess close.....that's too bad!
I'm another vote for Ain't Misbehavin'.

Il Trovatore is also playing at the Canadian Opera Company that day- if you're into opera they are FANTASTIC productions. Updated On: 3/21/05 at 09:33 AM

Strangely enough, I didn't enjoy any of those shows.
