re: What show would you do?

In a choice between CRAZY FOR YOU and 42ND STREET, I would choose, in an ideal world, CRAZY FOR YOU because it has a great book and, of course, Gershwin score. The one big problem is CRAZY requires a MALE LEAD who is not just a great singer but a virtuoso tap dancer. They are pretty hard to find. Dance, yes. Sing, yes. Dance AND sing? And be a leading man?

42ND ST has a female lead who must be another Ann Miller. Easier to find, thanks to dance schools.

Tough call....

"...and old people"

Niiice, munk. You just go out of your way to be offensive. It really must come naturally. Everyone else here said "seniors" or "oldtimers", but no, you gotta go with "old people"

Having said that, I agree with you...42nd St or Crazy for You. Picking one, it'd be 42nd street.
