re: What show would you like to live in?

Definitely Millie.
The 20s were fun. And I love the dancing! It was a glamorous time (Now, once you hit 1929...that's not so much the case)

I would like to live in:

Hairspray; as one of the council members. That sounds like it would be fun.

Sunset Boulevard - just to walk down that grand staircase, but I would steer clear of Norma!!!

What IS the Heavyside Layer? How do we know it's not really the neighbourhood butchershop?

LOL. Because the song tells us it's somewhere in the sky over the Bloomsbury section of London: "Up, up, up past the Russell Hotel, up, up, up, up to the Heavyside Layer".
If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

Believe it or not TITANIC

How amazing to be part of history, to sail aboard such a magnificent ship at that time.

(I plan on being one of the survivors!)

"best little whorehouse in texas"! only kidding. i'd have to say "the music man".
Ocean Breeze soap. It's just like taking an ocean cruise only there's no boat and you don't go anywhere.

Hey Mister Matt,

Just go to Philly, head West for Bryn Mawr, knock on some mansion's door and you're ALL SET! :)

Yeah DGrant, but that means we'd only get to see you once every 100 years. :)

Hairspray! It's pretty bright and colorful. And really hot guys date chubby girls (which works for me!).
A little swash, a bit of buckle - you'll love it more than bread.

Wicked <- cmon living in OZ is like EVERY little kids dreamm...

Footloose or Grease would be mad fun too!-

Hairspray. hhahah its just so..happy!

re: What show would you like to live in?

Probably Hairspray, simply because you could dance around and have lots of fun....also Wicked, because it would be amazing to live in Oz. Also....this will sound odd....but Les Miserables! It's my favourite musical of all time! I've always wanted to live in the 1800's because they were such a huge part of history....plus I have a crush on Enjolras!

Um.....I would have to say........Chicago. I mean, it is the roaring 20's, Jazz is the ruler of the airways, and I could bust into Bob Fosse's choreography any time I wanted to.

re: What show would you like to live in?

Sammy, don't take my ideas! I want those two or Cabaret for the same reasons. The wierd nightlife would rock.

And this is a really cool thread, by the way.

edit- Spider, living in the twenties would also mean living through the Depression a few years later... and it wasn't as rose-tinted as it sounds. We're doing it in history now.

re: What show would you like to live in?

Beauty and the Beast-people get what the deserve in the end. Good to the good, bad to the bad. Looks reflect and contrast personality. And of course a happy ending for the people with good hearts.

Edit: Hairspray, Seussical, ...Charlie Brown and Music Man would be tons of fun, too!

re: What show would you like to live in?

I don't want to live in a show, or a theatre. Throwing a pie and spanking, well that's another story. :)

If I had to live in a show it would be NINE (the new one.)
That is one beautiful set!
