What shows would you love to see turned into movies? — Page 2

Couldn't agree more about Ragtime! It would be incredible. I hope the possible Miss Saigon turns into reality. I've got to add Billy Elliot (the musical) to the list.
Also, Mame with someone who can sing those songs.

Of the ones that are most likely to be done eventually, my top choices would be Ragtime and Miss Saigon.

I would love to see Next to Normal filmed and I think it would be brilliant if it is in the right hands (someone like Jim Sheridan or Todd Field comes to mind).

Obviously, I would love a film version of my favorite musical of all time (Caroline, or Change), but I know that would be extremely unlikely to ever happen. Maybe HBO would consider it since Tony Kushner is back in the limelight with Lincoln?
