It was added for Toni and yes, it's still in the show. Why they put it in, I'm not sure. Someone else will have to answer that one!
But, I like the song a lot. Ashley Brown's recording of it on "On the Record" is well done.

Posted: 2/25/06 at 12:59pmWell, they put it in for Toni Braxton because I believe they wanted Belle to have more of a showstopper in the second act, and since Toni is a "name" they probably wanted her to stand out more in the show this way...didn't they say it was almost like a pop song? Audience reaction probably turned out good, so they kept it with the show.

when toni did the song it also gave her an opportunity to show off her blues style, however since her leaving i believe it fits the show better as it's now sung in the style of the rest of the show

And Eden singing Wizard and I- woah. amazing.
Are the preformers from this- expect for Wicked and B and B, and Chicago- understudies? Because DRS wasnt Jonathan or Norbert.
