I was wondering what songs he sang on the album....I have an audition for Cabaret and was thinking maybe about using one of his.....What ones does he sing????
The American Dream is the best one that he sings...his other big numbers are If You Want to Die in Bed and What a Waste.

TOO MANY. The engineer sings way too much in that show. When the American dream comes, I don't wanna see him. I want to get back to the story.
Yea, I thought the American Dream kind of just totally came out of left field and made no since, but yet I lmao the first time I saw it. A great performance by the current Engineer in the national tour.
I think "American Dream" is there to show the mentality of those living in the South East during the war. They wanted to be somewhere where they could be free, and that is what the Engineer sings.
What part are you auditioning for in Cabaret.
Well, I love the role of Herr Shultz, but I think they'll go with someone much older. So, I guess I'm going to go the Emcee/Kit Kat Club Boy route....but I also like the part of Herr Ludwig and Cliff, so we'll just to see how they do they auditions. Maybe a song could be enough to be considered for the younger parts....or maybe no older guys will show up. Anyways, no I may do King Herod's song from JCS.
The Heat is On In Siagon (talking bit not really solo)
The Deal (Duet with Chris)
You Will Not Touch Him (spoken parts at the beginning)
If You Want to Die in Bed (SOLO)
Let Me See He's Western Nose (Duet w/Kim, might be able to make a solo out of it. Lovely song.)
What a Waste (SOLO, except for a few chrous bits)
The American Dream (SOLO, except for a few chrous bits)
The engineer in the current non-equity tour was great.
