What time to you advise arriving 4 tix 2 Mother Courage?

I've never waited for the free tickets before ... what time was "normal" for the ohter shows ... I can only imagine it'll be earlier with Ms. Streep's appearance. Any ideas? Is there a difference between getting tickets downtown versus uptown? And how do so many people already HAVE tickets if they're distributed on the day of the show? Industry insiders?

It shouldn't be a horrible wait tomorrow, considering it's the first preview. But the earlier you get there, the more likely it will be that you'll get tickets. I'd say wait until wednesday or thursday to get an estimate as to how long the line is, this way you can plan out your time better.

They really ought to do a lottery whenever they have huge stars like Streep and Kline. It's crazy for people to have to get in line at midnight (or earlier) the night before just to be able to see the show.

A friend was in the park about an hour and a half ago and said there were only 2 people in line. When is everyone planning to get there?

just and fyi for those planning on waiting for tickets. I got here at 940am (im still here now), and counted ppl on line... a bit over 200 would be my estimate. its pretty crazy! I have no idea whether or not i'll get tickets, but ill keep you updated. I would say DEF no later than 730am though, for future reference
