Hi,
I am coming from the UK to visit SF this Christmas. I arrive on the 23rd and leave New Year's Day.

I have seen Wicked and The Nutcracker. Has anyone got any recommendations?

Thanks

Around Christmas, I'm not sure too much is playing.I know that American Conservatory Theatre will be doing their annual production of A CHRISTMAS CAROL if that interests you at all.

I plan on going out there in December to see SF Ballet's production of The Nutcracker, and would like to see Wicked as well, but not sure what else will be out there.

Hey Dottie! Did your colleagues enjoy the cake even though your cat decided to sit on it? ~GuyfromGermany

Oh come now, there is plenty in the City to see around the Holidays:

(of the 3 producing houses)
THE 39 STEPS at an SHN-SF Bway Theatre
A CHRISTMAS CAROL at American Conservatory Theatre
AURÉLIAS ORATORIO at Berkeley Rep

(hundreds upon hundreds of things in the off-beat or regional houses)

Plus regular favorites
BEACH BLANKET BABYLON
TEATRO ZANZINNI
TONY N TINAS WEDDING

Click the Theatre option in the left-hand column (or opera, ballet, etc)

Do come to Beach Blanket. I'm a performer there and we do have a great time during the Holiday season -- the theatre gets all gussied up, we bring out the tap-dancing Christmas trees. It's a lot of fun and it's definitely part of the "San Francisco Experience."

...Then again, I'm biased... ;o)

Do Beach Blanket Babylon. It is SUCH a great show, and definitely the quintessential "San Francisco experience".
