What was Lauren Kennedy doing in Spamalot?!?!?

I thought her stage prescence was good and she was pretty and very funny. But I wasn't too impressed by her singing.I mean, I know she's a good singer but, not in the role of the Lady of the Lake. I mean, I don't hate her, just didn't think she did so well in that role. Who agrees with me? When is she leaving and who will replace her?

I'm not even gonna comment on the replacement thing, I just think Broadway was spoiled by original Lady of the Lake, Sara Raimerez. I'd be surprised if they ever again found someone with the pipes, the look, (the boobs), the presence and the humor of Ms. Raimerez.
(Hmm...wonder what Orpheh is up to these days....)

I thought Lauren's singing was the least of the troubles. No stage presence, awful comedic timing, and NO understanding of comedy.

There was a long thread about this not too long ago. Basically, very, very few people like her in the role. She just does not have the presence that Sara had.

Oh GAWD, not this again. Yes, there's been many a heated discussion on this subject and most agree that kennedy is not ideal and that OR(FE)H would be. And no, none of us know what Orfeh is up to and/or if she'd even want to do the role.

I don't think anyone ever complained about Ramirez in the role, I think they were disgusted with her work "ethic".

And I don't wish she'd come back at all, I do wish they'd give the role to Orfeh, a perfect succesor with perfect attendance.

ShuQ, you may not be a big Orfeh fan but she's MORE than "up for it". Did you ever see her in Love, Janis? I think most people who did (and there aren't alot on this board), would agree it was light years more challenging vocally and emotionally.
