re: What was last show?

I just saw "Much Ado about Nothing" presented outdoors on the Boston Common during the week of the Democratic National Convention. It was so appropriate to have this aptly titled show going on while helicopters buzzed the Common non-stop in an oh so macho display of our nation's defense system. I'm surprised the helicopters didn't have their searchlights shining down on us. You know how rowdy we Shakespearean groundlings can get!

The production was quite good, but I felt so sorry for the actors who had to shout in order to be heard over the chopper blades. Much ado, indeed.

The last show I saw was Sight Unseen on July 15. It was wonderful, and Keri Russell and Topher Gracer were sitting directly across the aisle from us. It was a very exciting night for this slave to the WB.
