In the past few months, Terri-Marie at Danny's. A package deal of quality in performance, material, construction, arrangements, direction.

I love cabaret. I don't have one favorite but the most moving show was with Billy Stritch and Christine Ebersole at the Metropolitan Room. I also got a kick out of David Gurland's Neurotica.
Lennie's one man show at the Metropolitan was the funniest of the three but I loved all of them.

I always enjoy Lorinda Lisitza, Jane Sheckter and Vickie Philips
In the "Cabaret Legend" category: Karen Akers. Always.
Cheyenne Jackson tickled me. AFTER ordering SoMMS a drink but NOT tickling him, and hanging out with Girly in his dressing room (where he DIDN'T tickle her) but BEFORE we got married. To others. And then he tweeted Boobs. He also tweeted he's good friends with some chick on "The Voice" who just happens to be good friends with Tink's ex. And I'm still married. Oh, and this just in: "Pettiness, spite, malice ....Such ugly emotions... So sad." - After Eight, talking about MEEEEEEEE!!! I'm so honored! :-)

Chita Rivera at THE GRAND FINALE.
Legendary.
When Bob Fosse had his heart attack while rehearsing CHICAGO.
Cheets, Christopher Chadman and Tony Stevens did a show there and nothing has ever topped it.

Posted: 1/10/07 at 11:01amHugh Panaro's show in Bucks County to benefit amFAR. He replaced Christine Andreas who was originally scheduled to do it. He got a spider bite the day before and did the show with a fever, but he gave a wonderful performance...interacting with the audience between sets, taking a couple of microphone failures in stride, and getting a great standing ovation at the end.
