Phantom-my fav. show!
Sweeney (2005)...this one especially!
Sweeney (2005)...this one especially!
Back, he spurred like a madman, shrieking a curse to the sky. With the white road smoking behind him and his rapier brandished high! Blood-red were the spurs i' the golden noon; wine-red was his velvet coat, when they shot him down on the highway, down like a dog on the highway, and he lay in his blood on the highway, with the bunch of lace at his throat...
(The Highwayman. Sung by: Loreena McKennitt)

I don't mean to sound like a silly little fangirl, but I think Wicked was probably the coolest.

Sweeney. It was so different, but so amazing.
David walked into the valley
With a stone clutched in his hand
He was only a boy
But he knew someone must take a stand
There will always be a valley
Always mountains one must scale
There will always be perilous waters
Which someone must sail

Good job Best12bars..you beat me to it :) I was racking my brains out trying to think of a show that took place somewhere cold or had something cold-related in the title. The best I could come up with was "The Iceman Cometh"...

I have to agree with the current production of "Sweeny". How cool to see a show that was all about great performances and a great score.

Of the 4 shows I've seen so far this year (Doubt, Sweeney, Pajama Game, Barefoot), Sweeney is the tops, followed by Doubt, Pajama Game, and Barefoot.

wicked. aside from me just loving the music, the sets and everything were beautiful.
and honestly mamma mia was pretty cool. i went in there expecting some disco thing like saturday night fever, but i was very impressed. the curtain itself was very unique and the set really made the island come to life.

Thats so cool. My best friend went and saw Mama Mia. She really like it too. I've see only 2 shows live. I'm what people call a "Broadway Virgin" haha. I love Broadway though its so great. I can't wait to see wicked live it seems so cool. I've played to music to Les Miserables... it was difficult but great music.

I can't just pick one, so I will pick several in no particular order:
1) Wicked
2) Cabaret (revival)
3) Dirty Rotten Scoundrels
4) Rent
5) Chicago
6) Taboo
Honorable Off Broadway mention: See What I Wanna See -- absolutely stunning.
