When Does Alice Ripley's Cd Come Out?

The one with her band Ripley...Any idea when it'll be released?

I didn't know they were working on a new one (which would be GREAT!), but they released a 5 song CD maybe a little over a year ago now, which you can buy on their website (I think it's www.ripleytheband.com) and you can download it on iTunes also.
Is there something new being released soon??

I know they were working on a full album. I think I remember March or April as the release date. I just bought the 5 song CD, but I believe the new disc is new material.

NEW CD UPDATE
Starting November 1, Ripley is back in the studio recording songs for a full-length CD, which should be ready in early 2005. I don't want to give anything away, but let's just say Miss America may be rearing her crowned head . . .

Unfortunately, haven't heard anything about it lately...

You can download their new EP for free at their website too. Ripley is actually an amazing band and their sound is something I've never heard before, it's amazing and normally I'm not a huge Alice fan.

RIPLEY's CD should be coming out soon. There's a clip on their MySpace page of "Arthur", one of the songs off the new album. Other than that, I have no idea when the actual album will be released, but I know that they are planning to put a music video onto it before they release it and the video has yet to be made.

I've been waiting on this CD for a year. I hope by this spring we can all run out and get it. I also hope she comes back to New York to perform with her band and promote the CD. Wouldn't it be great if she played Fantine again in the six month return of Les Mis? Heck, I've still got my fingers crossed on Evita being mounted and her playing the role...

New York misses her!

She's relocated to LA. Her main focus is her band right now, so I wouldn't hold your breathe for her reprising her role as Fantine. (And she is truly too talented to return to that god awful show anyway.)
