I seem to remember that John Selya in Movin Out does not perform on Thursday nights...am I right in remembering this?

The cast change used to be that the alternate cast went on for Wednesday and Saturday matinees - days when there are two shows. Unless something's changed, it should be the same. John Selya, then, would not be in those two performances.

I walked by the Movin' Out theatre on a Friday a few weeks ago, and saw all four leads played by their understudies, plus the piano player was out too. Does that mean the cast doesn't perform on Friday evenings too?

John Selya hasn't been in the Movin' Out cast for a few weeks now. Not sure when he's planning on returning, but Ron Towdorowski's been the regular Eddie since at least late January. Ron's incredible though, and those disappointed by not seeing Selya won't be for long once Ron starts working his magic!

I don't think that's scheduled, mint. Unfortunately, understudies in Movin' Out seem to go on a lot. With reason, though, since it's obviously a pretty strenuous performance.
