Six months from when it starts?
I believe March 11th.
....$hit.....
well that's just great...
thanks for the info just the same
Well, on some sites, it says that they're selling through September.
Here, if you look, it says "Group tickets on sale through: 9/02/07." Don't know of that will help, but...

Do I smell an extension on the rise?
My guess? Late 2008. Seriously.
There's a rumor of another tour opening whenever the Broadway production closes. I wonder about that. There's really only one "Mackintosh-stamped" set in the US now since the first B'way set and costumes were sent to Berlin.

I'm a little surprised that they scheduled it to end in March - you'd think the producers would want to keep it around at least until Tony time.

I'm sorry to tell you guys, but you are so incredibly incorrect. Barring an extension, it closes April 22nd 2007. This is according to Playbill.com.

sorry, couldn't resist.
Actually, they have had the idea of an extension (s?) from day one.

teh six month run will end in about 2012
Sorry if it's discussed before but will they really "revise" the show? I mean new direction, costumes, etc.?
The costumes are coming straight from the national tour, and Trevor Nunn is directing it. Don't expect too much detraction from what's been the standard for 2 decades.
They'll probably have an extension.

Does anyone know if the actors have signed on for longer than 6months or if there is a clause about an extention in their contracts? That would hint at something. I can't imagine they're just going to get an entirely new cast in March.
