I was just wondering because on christmas eve was light my candle then christmas day would've been maureens protest "well tonight tonight come to the life cafe after maureens show", so when does this fit in, I never really thought about it until my friend brought it up

Posted: 5/2/06 at 11:02pmFirst of all, it's "Tonight's the night" not "Tonight Tonight", and second, it takes place after the song "Life Support" in the play, which is a few hours before the protest. She's in her apartment during the song.

Posted: 5/3/06 at 5:53pmSo, the Cat Scratch Club doesn't come into play on broadway? I just never really ever thought of her as stripping off the kimono for no reason. BUT, I'm glad someone pointed out about shooting up. That makes sense now. Thanks.

In the Broadway play she sings it on Christmas Eve in her apartment. I think she rips off the kimono because she's got changed for her night out with Roger.
In the film she sings it on Christmas Day at the Cat Scratch Club and then on her way to her apartment from the Cat Scratch Club.
