When is Idina Leaving???

Hello! I am pretty certain Idina is leaving Jan 2nd, but I am not quite sure. If someone could just let me know if that is right...then that would be great. I am hoping I will be in NY for that performance to catch her one last time. Thanks!!!

She's already gone. She said the pressure was too much and if she had to defy gravity one more time she was going to go postal and punch those munchkins in the nads.

I'm not sure I'd want to see Wicked without Idina, or Kristin. It's just sad like that....

Ya...I saw it with them...and loved it. But my friend just moved out to NYC and I think I want to come out for New Years. Catch a show or two (or . But I think I need to see Idina again!!!

if they get stephanie block to replace her, it would be worth seeing. i did see kristin and idina. i did enjoy both of there performances. although replacing them is gonna be tough. has anyone seen kristin's replacement yet?
i've seen her in urinetown and footloose but was just curious how she is in wicked.

I've seen pics (www.wickedthemusical.com) and she looks less "Hi! I'm Ms Peppy" with the big cheesy grin. I've heard Laura Thompson on the OCR of Urinetown and she sounded good, but I dunno if she can belch it out like Idina.

I f stephanie block replaces Idina all will be just fine in Oz. steph as Elphaba, and Rip Taylor as Glinda - cha ching!!

I saw JLT in Urinetown and she is great; I think she'll do a great job in Wicked. I read an interview with her on broadway.com and she seems very excited to be taking on the role--excited and nervous. So, I can't wait to see her!

Of course no one will be able to fully replace Cheno, but that's the price you pay with being a replacement...Sometimes you have huge shoes to fill, even if the shoes belong to the tiny Cheno

there is a rumour that the producers are gonna bring Kristin and Idina abroad to the Westend production of Wicked... some say they have promised already. Don't be sad just 'casue kristin's left n Idina's leavin'! If the rumour's true, you can still come abroad to UK to see them!

I saw JLT as Galinda.. or Glinda, whatever. She was fabulous, I really couldn't have asked for a better actress/singer/comedian. I loved her performance. Two thumbs up for the girl in the 18th row.

Speaking of topics that have been beaten to death about shows that are mediocre at best...

I saw Cheno and Dee in WICKED (like everybody else), but for some reason, I don't understand the madness and obsession. I am not a Cheno fan, but she was funny. As for the Great Gaspy, she was brilliant in her acting, and I really thought did deserved her award (until I saw CAROLINE, OR CHANGE). As far as replacements, it may be the only way for me to go back to the show. I adore JLT, and think she is better for the role of Glinda. So that's going to be fun. If Stephanie Bloch replaces Idina, I too will become a wicked freak... because despite the poorly written music, Jennifer and Stephanie will bring new fresh life to the show. I felt like Cheno and Dee had done the show for so long that they looked like they weren't even enjoying themselves. (In fact, I don't think Cheno even knew where she was! Haha!). Okay, so, let's talk about something else now...
