When Does Applegate leave Sweet Charity? Just curious. I want to see it if she's in it! I'll be in NYC soon, so just curious.

I believe she is contracted through January. I imagine the show will close when she leaves it.

The show just opened a month ago....I don't think she's going anywhere soon, unless Charity closes.

I'm pretty sure her contract lasts through Decemeber 31.

I second the show closing following her leave... I'm sure they will speculate big-name replacements, but none will emerge and the show will close (a la Hugh Jackman).

I would imagine the show will close before her contract is up. It's playing at 60 some odd percent occupancy and it's only June. Of that 60% how many tickets could possibly be full priced? The show is not in good financial shape.

SOME posters (not all) are touting replacements because they are running out of nasty things to say about the show, Christina, the choreography, etc.
