It seems he disappeared from the scene rather quickly

He was white hot for awhile. It seems to me that after The Best Little Whorehouse Goes Public flopped, he started to go down hill. I wonder if the critical roasting got to him. It is not unheard of

David Lean directed a beautiful film called "Ryans Daughter" . The critics ripped it to shreads. He was so hurt he stayed away from movies for quite some time afterwards

Will Tune ever come back & do another full scale show?
