Does anyone know this song? I was in the show many years back, and they cut it. I was kinda disappointed, because it's very cleverly written, as well as fun. Kinda has that La Vie Boheme feel...
Which is funny because the composer's name was mentioned in the La Vie Boheme parody on Forbidden Broadway...

#1 Name the show

#2 Name the composer

"Do you know what pledge time is, Andrew"? said the PBS Executive. "Yes", Lloyd Webber replied. "My 50th birthday special must be one program that gets done a lot." "No", mused the man from PBS heedlessy. "Not so much. Our Stephen Sondheim Carnegie Hall concert. That's a big one." Spoons, forks and knives seemed suddenly to suspend their motion in horror, all around the table.

The song is from Runaways and the composer is Elizabeth Swados.
Is there a prize for this answer?

Of course not. But, thank you for finally answering. I was getting worried...

I think it's "Where are THOSE people who did Hair", but I'm splitting hairs.

I'm a fan of Swados, although not many other people seem to be. I really like the RUNAWAYS CD, and wish Decca Broadway would release her best score, DOONESBURY.

I like Runaways, but I have a problem with some of the songs...the slow ones in particular. I do like Blow Thin Wind...It was fun to sing...I also liked "Sitting on the roof"...forgive me, i did the show, like 10 years ago, so I don't remember the titles...
